Ion optics of LIDIA mass-spectrometer
Description
The ion-optical characteristics of the ultrasensitive mass-spectrometer LIDIA designed to search for superheavy elements (A > 250) using a laser ion source and a multistage separation system have been calculated. The mass-spectrometer is under construction at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. The results are compared with the experimental data
