Shielding against neutron streaming in pressurized-water reactor

Description
Computational techniques used to treat neutron and gamma streaming through the annular air gap around the vessel of a pressurized-water reactor are described. A practical shielding arrangement consisting of two layers of different hydrogenous materials is presented. (orig.)

Es werden Rechentechniken zur Behandlung der Neutronen- und Gammastroemung durch den ringfoermigen Luftspalt um das Druckgefaess eines DWR beschrieben.
