Nonzero-mass asymptotic limit of massive theories

  • 1. Genoa Univ. (Italy). Istituto di Scienze Fisiche

Description

It is studied under what conditions the asymptotic limit of massive theories is not massless. In particular the case of the massive Thirring model is investigated with Pade approximants up to the second order, since in this model the treatment is simplest yet gives sufficient hints as to how the critical theory may be constructed even with a small coupling constant
