Moving scale dimension pole in quantum electrodynamics

  • 1. Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar (India)

Description

The basic principle of the method adapted in recent investigations (Pradhan and Khare. Phys. Rev.; D12: 1794 (1975)) and Khare and Pradhan Phys. Rev.; D 15: 3724 (1977)) of the moving poles in the complex scale dimension plane in quantum electrodynamics is elaborated and an alternative method is presented. It is shown that both methods give identical results when the pole positions are close to the canonical value. (author)
