Strong cube textured nickel-based substrates for high-temperature superconductor tapes

Description
Alloys of the following compositions, at. %: Ni-Cr (2.1-22.0); Ni-Mo (1.6-9.3); Ni-V (2.5-10.1); Ni-W (1.1-7.4); Ni-Mn (1.9-22.1); Ni-Re (1.1-4.1); Ni-Nb (1.9-5.4), produced by induction melting in argon atmosphere, were used for the manufacture of cold-rolled tape intended to be used as a substrate for high-temperature superconducting coatings. The substrates shall feature acute cubic texture, improved strength properties and Curie point below 70 K. The nickel alloys doping boundaries were identified. Functional capability of the substrate was tested by spraying a two-layer structure made up by a CeO2 buffer layer and high-Tc film of YBa2Cu3O7-δ on the Ni-11 at. % Cr alloy textured tape

Сплавы следующих составов, ат. %: Ni-Cr (2.1-22.0); Ni-Mo (1.6-9.3); Ni-V (2.5-10.1); Ni-W (1.1-7.4); Ni-Mn (1.9-22.1); Ni-Re (1.1-4.1); Ni-Nb (1.9-5.4), полученные индукционной плавкой в атмосфере аргона, использованы для изготовления холоднокатанной ленты, предназначенной служить подложкой для высокотемпературных сверхпроводящих покрытий. Такие подложки должны обладать острой кубической текстурой, повышенными прочностными свойствами и температурой Кюри ниже 70 К. Определены границы легирования никелевых сплавов. Функциональная способность подложки испытана при нанесении на текстурированную ленту сплава Ni-11 ат. % Cr двухслойной структуры из буферного слоя CeO2 и ВТСП пленки YBa2Cu3O7-δAdditional details
