Phase equilibrium in indium-aluminium melts

Description

A variant of method for investigation into stratifying binary liquid systems using the penetrating radiation is developed and tested. The critical point coordinates and the shape of the curve restricting the region of immiscibility for In-Al system are determined. The main advantages of the method consist in substantial reduction of measurement labour consumption and in a possibility of studying a wide group of high-temperature melts. 8 refs.; 1 fig
