Description
Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) microfiber was irradiated with a fluence of 1 X1011 p/cm2 by 3 MeV proton in air using external beam facility at Institute of Physics (IOP), Bhubaneswar. Structural studies was carried out using x-ray diffraction technique and the crystallinity for both non-irradiated and irradiated fibers were calculated to be 81.82% and 84.87% respectively. (author)
