Electric conduction of NaBr and NaBPh4 solutions in N,N-dimethylformamide at 233-318 K

Description
Electric conductivity of NaBr and NaBPh4 solutions, diluted in DMFA at 233-318 K is experimentally determined. The values of the threshold mole electric conductivity of salts and constants of ionic association (KA) are calculated on the basis of the Lee-Wheaton equations. Analysis of changing these values with temperature is carried out. The character of ionic association for NaBPh4 cannot be explained from the viewpoint of electric interaction. The increase in KA by decrease in temperature is explained by increasing role of short-action (specific) interactions by ions association. (author)
