Description

CsK2Sb photo-cathode is capable to generate a high intensity and low emittance electron beam with a visible laser light. This is feasible for accelerator project especially requiring a high brightness electron beam. The cathode is generated with evaporation of Cs, K, and Sb on a substrate in a high vacuum environment. A practical recipe to obtain a good performance cathode is established empirically, but the detail is not understood well. In this manuscript, we report UPS experiment of CsK2Sb which was carried out at UVSOR in Okazaki. (author)
