Null circular polarization measurements for the controversial white dwarf LDS 678B (EG 131)

Description

Several broad-band circular polarization measurements of LDS 678B show that this star does not have a detectable magnetic field. This result leaves the cause of the possible spectroscopic variation unclear. (author)
