Analysis of spent extragent by the method of infrared spectroscopy

Description

Controlled and partially modified are infrared spectroscopy methods determining and analyzing tributyl-phosphate (TBP), n-butyl alcohol, nitro compounds, dibutylphosphate (DBP) and water in a mixture of 20% TBP in dodecane. The content of TBP was determined by the maximum absorption of the band of P=O,appearing as a dublet at 1280 cm-1. The accuracy of measurements is expressed through the mean error value of a measurement and amounts +-0.31 rel. %. The content of DBP was determined by the absorption of the band of valent oscillations of P-O-C bands at 1035 cm-1 with the accuracy of +-3.6 rel. %. Boundaries of infrared spectrophotometry sensitivity have been determined. For n-butyl alcohol the boundary is lower than 15 vol. %, for DBP it is lower than 0.1 vol. %, and for nitric compounds it is lower than 0.05 vol. %
