Does gravity vary with time

Description
Arguments are formulated to show that it is possible to derive a self-consistent view of the Universe by allowing the constant of gravity, G, to vary over cosmological time. Relevant observations are discussed. It is concluded that purely gravitational experiments clearly hold the key to the solution of the problem and also that the variation of G has become an integral part of the quest for the unification of the four forces of physics.
