CT of biliary tract carcinoma
Description
This retrospective study reports about the informative value of computed tomography applied on 21 patients. The differential diagnostic aspects are particularly considered. Besides ERC and PTC, CT has to be regarded as supplementary investigation method, which preferably permits the detection of regional lymphatic node metastases and the infiltration of adjacent organs. In einer retrospektiven Studie wird ueber die Aussagefaehigkeit der Computertomographie anhand von 21 Patienten berichtet. Die differentialdiagnostischen Aspekte werden besonders beruecksichtigt. Neben ERC und PTC ist die Computertomographie als ergaenzendes Verfahren anzusehen, das vor allem die regionaeren Lymphknotenmetastasen sowie eine Infiltration benachbarter Organe demonstriert.
