Time dependent source term assessments using the MELCOR
Description
Integrated and systematic analysis for the consequences of severe accidents beyond design basis accidents is required. The thermo-hydraulics and source term analysis using the MELCOR code has been performed for release characteristics and amount of fission products for 19 source term categories developed in IPEs of a reference plant. The results of this study may contribute to establishing the technical basis for performing level 2+ PSA
