Circuit analysis of the current driven by LHW on JFT-2M tokamak

  • 1. Mitsubishi Electric Corp., 2-2-3, Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, 100

Description

Experiments of current drive by lower hybrid wave (LHW) have been done in JFT-2M tokamak in JAERI. One can estimate the driven current from the drop of the loop voltage. The authors tried to evaluate the plasma resistance during rf application using a tokamak circuit equation. Its value is up to 4.7 μΩ in these experiments
