Coulomb potential in the presence of minimal uncertainty in momentum

Description
We use the perturbation theory to calculate the energy spectrum of the hydrogen atom and Kratzer molecular potential in the framework of the extended uncertainty principle (EUP). This form of EUP can be derived from the geometric properties of anti-de Sitter spacetime and implies a minimal uncertainty in momentum. An upper bound for the deformation parameter is found to be about √α ∼103 m−1. (author)
