Description
An instrument capable of recording and displaying ionizing radiation waveforms as well as calculating the exposure and time of any selected portion of the waveform is described. The instrument is used to measure radiation exposure rates from 1 mR/h to 650 R/min and exposures from 0.1 mR to 100 R over the range of photon energies from 20 keV to 1.2 MeV. Results obtained from the testing of typical diagnostic X-ray machines are presented. (Auth.)
