Gamma-ray spectrometry with mercuric iodide detectors with application to medical imaging
Description
The applicability of mercuric iodide detectors for nuclear imaging is discussed. The energy response to 662 keV photons from 137Cs is examined, and the possible rejection of scattered radiation is evaluated. (Auth.)
