Description

An optical technique based on a color coding is applied to the measurement of waves generated on the surface of liquid water flow simulating the beam target of the proposed irradiation facility that will employ the deuteron-lithium stripping reaction. It is shown that this technique is useful for characterizing and quantifying the standing waves appearing on the jet surfaces and the draft level close to the wall. (author)
