Order-disorder phase transition in Au3 Cd alloy
Description
The ''order-disorder'' phase transition in Au3Cd alloy, possessing a superstructure DO23, was studied by X-ray structure analysis. MeasUred were the dependences of long-range parameters and of lattice parameters A and C upon the annealing temperature. It was found that the antiphase period M equals to 2 and is not affected by the annealing temperature. The temperature of the phase transition is 422+-3 deg C
