Description

The 10.6 GeV/n gold beam from the AGS has been allowed to interact in a wide range of targets. The emerging fragments with charges between 80Hg and 57La have been identified. Preliminary values have been determined for the total cross sections for charge changing interactions, for the partial cross sections for the production of heavy fragments, and for the partial cross sections for charge pickup.
