Description

In this paper the general opinion about automatic control of ion accelerators is described, explaining the differences between steady-state and dynamic models of a control system. Three steps describing a steady-state model are given. Subsequently, a new method for solving a set of nonlinear equations is introduced and a search for the optimal operating point of an ion accelerator is explained
