A simple appraisal of the parameters of the Mach wave in a cumulation cone
Description
Some elementary approximate formulae are submitted for the parameters of the Mach wave (pressure, velocity and width of the Mach wave front) in a cumulation cone. The agreement with the experimental results and those of numerical analysis is found to be good. The pressure in the cumulation cone considered is generated by impact of an explosion-driven conical shell on the lateral surface of the cone. (author)
