Giant atoms in outer space
Description
Results obtained when investigating giant atoms in outer space were discussed in popular form. Discovery of recombination radiolines from highly excited atoms represented the unique source of the data on existence of atoms in outer space and their structure. The problem of Stark radioline broadening was considered. It was noted that recombination lines appeared to be the effective means for studying outer space
