Description
Streamer interaction with localized quasi-neutral (electron-ion and ion-ion) and charged plasma clouds is simulated using a 2D fluid model. Depending on the type of plasma and the densities of charged species inside the cloud, several patterns of streamer-plasma interaction are obtained: free streamer propagation through the cloud, bending around the cloud and deflection of the streamer from the initial direction of its propagation.
