Description
A comparison of university clinics and hospitals shows that in university clinics a greater part of the equipment consists of special devices such as tomographs, angiographic systems and other types. The routine equipment is about equal in standard, except for the image intensifying devices. Some of the results of this survey indicate that the equipment-related radiation exposure of the patients is higher in a doctor's practice than in university clinics or hospitals. (DG)
Abstract (German)
Beim Vergleich Universitaetsklinik-Krankenhaus faellt auf, dass der Anteil der Spezialgeraete, Angiographiegeraete und Computertomographen in den Universitaetskliniken hoeher ist als in den Krankenhaeusern. Abgesehen von den BV-Geraeten ist die Routineaustattung in etwa identisch. Einige Parameter sprechen dafuer, dass die geraetebedingten Strahlenexpositionen des Patienten in Arztpraxen hoeher sind als in Krankenhaeusern und Universitaetskliniken. (DG)Additional details
