Description

A theory of weak interaction in the three nucleon system is much in need and that is the aim of the present contribution. The author develops here a formal scattering theory for the three nucleon system in which the NN interaction is composed both of weak and strong parts. Attention is focused on the following two guidelines: a) The weak NN interaction is small and can be treated in first order. b) The weak NN interaction is absolutely nonseparable. The strong NN interaction is taken here to be composed of one separable term in each partial wave. (Auth.)
