Magnetic moment of the 0.8 s 5- isomer 90mZr
Description
The magnetic hyperfine splitting νM = vertical strokegμNBHF/hvertical stroke of 90mZr (Iπ = 5-; T1/2 = 0.8 s; E = 2319 keV) in Fe has been measured with the technique of nuclear magnetic resonance on oriented nuclei as 270.6 (1) MHz. With the hyperfine field BHF(ZrFe) = -284 (6) kG the magnetic moment of 90mZr is deduced to be vertical strokeμvertical stroke = 6.25 (13) μN. The additivity of magnetic moments and the anomalous orbital g-factor of the proton in 90Zr are discussed. (orig.)
