Magnetometer on the base of a hermetically-sealed magnetic reed relay
Description
A magnetometer for measurement of stationary magnetic field within 0.02 - 2.0 mT range with ± 2 x 10-3 mT accuracy is described. The measuring rate depends on contact type. The mechanical hysteresis of a sensor in overwhelmed by demagnetization pulse in each measuring cycle, which allows to expand the range. Cycle duration is about 0.5 s. The magnetometer is suitable to map a magnetic field in a relatively large magnetic apparatus
