Description
A study of the influence of air exposure on the content of Deuterium implanted graphite was done for different exposure durations and different gas exposures. Important reduction of the D2 thermodesorbed is shown to result from the formation of deuterated compounds during the desorption, the total amount of deuterium desorbed remaining unchanged. Some informations on the mechanisms of the interactions can be obtained by the comparison of the different experiments
