A chiral SU(3) x SU(3) bag model
Description
In order to incorporate phenomena associated with the kaon cloud we develop a chiral SU(3) x SU(3) invariant bag model. The symmetry requirements determine the coupling between the two phases, which remains untouched even when we break the symmetry explicitly by the introduction of mass terms. By imposing continuity for the divergence of the axial current across the surface we derive relations between quark and meson masses. Thereafter we calculate baryon-meson and axial vector coupling constants and obtain Golberger-Treiman-like relations. (orig.)
