Description
Test results of the ''Aurora-3'' high-voltage electron accelerator of the energy of 0.25-0.75 MeV, power of 25-150 kW intended for radiation finishing of tissues in light industry are presented. The conducted investigations permitted to make a conclusion on possibility of obtaining the following parameters in the ''Aurora-3'' accelerator with one irradiator: operating accelerating voltage from 300 to 500 kV, beam power up to 50 kW at 500 keV, non-uniformity of the linear current density along the emission window at the length of 1800 mm not more than +-5%; instability of beam current during one hour of operation not more than +-2%; accelerator efficiency 83.5%
