Uranium resources to meet long-term uranium requirements

Description
The uranium reserves and the future uranium demand of the USA are estimated. The basis for the estimation of the uranium reserves is provided by AEC statistics and geological data. The uranium demand assessment is based on the service life of all PWR and BWR reactors built so far in the U.S.A. (HR/AK)

Es wird eine Abschaetzung der Uranvorraete und des zukuenftigen Uranbedarfs der USA vorgenommen. Basis der Abschaetzung der Reserven ist eine von der AEC veroeffentlichte Statistik sowie geologische Unterlagen. Der Uranbedarf orientiert sich an der Lebensdauer saemtlicher bisher in den USA gebauten LWR. (HR)Additional details
