Application of the spherical harmonics method to the transport equation in matrix form I: group fluxes and currents

  • 1. Centro Tecnico Aeroespacial (CTA-IEAv), Sao Jose dos Campos, SP (Brazil). Inst. de Estudos Avancados

Description

In this work the group fluxes and currents calculated, for two test problems, through the implementation of the matrix form transport equation solution by the spherical harmonics method (PN) are presented, considering steady state, absence of external sources and fission, slab geometry and incident flux as boundary conditions.
