Pressure drop in rod bundles

Description
Pressure drop across a rod bundle due to the friction in one-phase and two-phase flows has been studied. The main geometric parameters, characterizing rod bundle, are considered, and a qualitative description of boiling process is provided. A model of homogeneous flow, based on the admission on homogeneity of the flow parameters over the bundle flow area is described. Algorithms used during cellular analysis of two-phase flow, which are put in the basis of computer codes COBRA, HAMBO and FLICA, are presented
