Tracer movement across the rabbit retina
Creators
Description
Labeled xenon and water move rapidly from the vitreous across the retina and are removed by the choroidal vessels. Between 80 and 100% of the tracer in the mid-vitreous is removed through this pathway. A diffusional mechanism accounts for the results of this study. (Auth.)
