Software for computerized determination of biological protection from gamma-radiation
Description
The code AECIZ allows to determine the thickness of biological shielding of spatial gamma sources with complicated spectra, as tubes, vessels, waste containers, etc. Three main modules perform the system's major tasks: data base creation, maintenance and updating; gamma spectra parameters of radionuclide mixtures determination; calculation of gamma-rays dose rate of cylindrical sources with and without shielding. The code system is written in Fortran-IV and developed on ES 1055 computer under OS/ES. 2 figs, 7 refs
