181Ta(p,t)179Ta reaction: evidence for particle-core coupling

Description

The differential cross sections of tritons emitted in the 181Ta(p,t)179Ta reaction have been measured at a bombarding energy of 19 MeV. The energy resolution was better than 15 keV. Thirty eight levels in 179Ta were observed. A distorted wave program for two nucleons transfer was used to identify levels obtained with L = 0 transfer. A comparison with the corresponding L = 0 transfers in the 180Hf(p,t)178Hf reaction shows evidence for quasi particle-core coupling in 7/2+ states of 179Ta
