Description

A procedure is worked out for the analysis of rare earth elements (La-Nd, Sm-Lu) in oceanic sediments and ores by the method of inductively coupled plasma source mass spectrometry. The verification of the procedure for its correctness and reproducibility was carried out on the basis of data on rare earth content in reference samples BCR-1, AGV-1, and GSP-1. The content of rare earths in uncertified reference samples of bottom sediments and sedimentary rocks has been determined. Low values of detection limit characteristic of the procedure allow rare earths be determined in natural objects without preconcentration
