Measuring systems for determining the particle energy of betatrons

Description

This paper describes a measuring system which, in contrast to the methods known so far, makes it possible to measure the beam energy of a betatron during routine medical use. The measuring system must be programmed according to the facility-specific characteristics of the betatron, and displays the energy digitally in steps of 1 MeV (+- 0.5 MeV). (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Es wird ein Messsystem beschrieben, das im Gegensatz zu den bekannten Verfahren die Bestimmung der Strahlenenergie auch waehrend des medizinischen Routinebetriebs erlaubt. Das Messsystem ist nach den anlagenspezifischen Kennlinien zu programmieren und zeigt die Energie digital in Schritten von 1 MeV (+- 0,5 MeV) an. (orig.)
