Signatures of non-coplanarity in hot fusion reaction 12C+93Nb via PCN and Psurv determined on dynamical cluster-decay model

Description

In recent works, we introduced and estimated for the first time the compound nucleus (CN) formation probability PCN and the survival probability Psurv, using the dynamical cluster-decay model (DCM) of Gupta and collaborators, and applied to various 'hot' fusion reactions. Interestingly, independent of the nuclear interaction potentials used, the variation of PCN and Psurv on CN excitation energy E*, fissility parameter χ, CN mass ACN and Coulomb parameter Z1Z2, allow us to classify the considered compound systems into three groups, namely, weekly fissioning, radioactive and strongly fissioning superheavy nuclei. For 12C+93Nb reaction, forming 105Ag*, only co-planar (Φ= 00) nuclei were considered, which gave arise to an unrealistic result of PCN belonging to the super-heavy group (292Fl*, 286Cn*), and Psurv to weakly fissioning group of nuclei (164Yb, 176−196Pt*, 202Pb and 213,217Fr*). In this work, we allow the non-coplanar degree-of-freedom (Φ≠00) and apply the DCM to 12C+93Nb→105Ag* reaction. The important result is that, with Φ≠00, both PCN and Psurv belong to the weekly fissioning nuclei, the group to which 105Ag* belongs
