Supercurrent-induced quasiparticle states in S-I superlattices

Description
We have shown that the presence of supercurrent the energy spectrum of the S-I superlattice (S is for a superconductor, I is for an insulating material) contained a Bloch hand of quasiparticle states with energies in the range of the gap. The width of the Bloch band is a rapidly oscillating function of the superlattice period
