Description
Process for locating failed fuel elements in a nuclear reactor, particularly in the case of a fast reactor. The characteristic of this process is that the age of the defective fuel element is measured by determining the ratio between two fission substances constituted by two stable gaseous isotopes having available gas formation kinetics differing according to the specific burnup, for example the stable isotopes of xenon
