Description
Judgement of joint disease requires knowledge of more comprehensive relationships - static and dynamic, biochemical, patho-anatomical, vegetative, endocrine, neural, vascular, and other causes, reactions and interactions. Such relationships are dealt with in this book, which was written by radiologists and orthopaedists in cooperation. It proceeds step by step, showing the position of each individual step within this process. Making a diagnosis requires attention to and evaluation of the following structures: 1. soft parts, 2. position of the joint axle, 3. bone mineralization, 4. joint cavity. The book is divided into the three sections: hand disease, joint disease from head to foot and differential diagnosis of joint disease. (orig./MG)

Zur Beurteilung einer Gelenkerkrankung gehoert auch das Wissen um groessere Zusammenhaenge - statische und dynamische, biochemische, pathologisch-anatomische, vegetative, endokrine, nervale, vaskulaere und andere Ursachen, Reaktionen und Wechselwirkungen. Das vorliegende Buch, das von Radiologen und Orthopaeden in gemeinsamer Arbeit geschaffen wurde, geht auf solche Zusammenhaenge ein. Es geht schrittweise vor und bringt die einzelnen Stufen dieses Vorgehens in eine klar gegliederte Reihenfolge. Die Diagnosestellung verlangt die Beachtung und Auswertung der folgenden Strukturen: 1. Weichteile, 2. Gelenkachsenstellung, 3. Knochenmineralisation, 4. Gelenkspalt. Das Buch ist gegliedert in die 3 Teile: Hand, Gelenkerkrankungen von Kopf bis Fuss sowie Differentialdiagnose der Gelenkerkrankungen. (orig./MG)Additional details
