Devitrification and ionic conductivity study of lithium rich phosphate glass

  • 1. Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai (India)

Description

The X-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) techniques have been utilized to understand the devitrification process in mol% 60Li2O-40P2O5 glass. The XRD reveals the presence of three distinct Li4P2O7, Li6P6O18 and LiPO3 crystalline phases in the devitrified glass. The values of activation energy for crystallization as calculated using Kissinger and Ozawa methods are in close agreement and confirm the evolution of the above three crystalline phases. (author)
