Spectral dependence of diffusion in a magnetized plasma

Description
The problem of random walk of charged particles across a magnetic field is studied using a generalized Langevin formulation. The diffusion coefficient is found to be independent of B, inversely proportional to B, or inversely proportional to B2, depending upon the electric field fluctuation spectra.
