Description

Guangdu-Hengxi volcanic basin, a inherited volcanic graben basin, which is mainly composed of acid-acidic pyroclastic rocks, lava and pyroclastic sedimentary rocks. In this region, faults and volcanic structures are developed, uranium mineralization has good geological conditions. Basin uranium was mainly distributed in three concentration areas aligned NW, deposits, sub-deposits are controlled by the structural knot points of north-west, north-east main faults and the lower level volcanic structures, ores are occured in the secondary faults, fissure zone of the main faults, and the faults related with volcanic structures, ore has no selectivity to the lithology. Mineralization is mainly controlled by the north-west direction structure, lower level volcanic structures and angle unconformity between E' huling formation and Shixi formation. Analysts believe that there are good prospectings in the shirendi, shishigang and Huating area. (authors)
