Description
Particle densities of neutral hydrogen and chromium are measured in the vicinity of a stainless steel toroidal limiter by resonance fluorescence at Hsub(α) and Cr I (429 nm) wavelengths. The results allow conclusions about particle confinement, recycling and impurity release processes, and the properties of the plasma edge region. (orig.)
