Optical properties of the Martian atmosphere during the 1971 dust stor
Description
In assumption of the silicate nature of the 1971 dust storm's particles on Mars two possibilities are considered: 1) the mean radius of particles rapproximately10mμ. It is shown that only the case 2) does not contradict to results of photometrical observations. In this case the single scattering albedo of the dust particles ω=0.87-0.99 (into spectral interval 366-625 mμ) and the optical thickness of atmosphere of maximum of dust storm tau0(<approximately)40 are determined. The illuminance on the surface of Mars during the dust storm is calculated
