Description
The set-up of a relativistic constituent quark model in four dimensions is one of the outstanding problems in particle physics. For the time being this involves a great deal of model building which, very probably, will not change in the near future. In this paper we shall offer some general remarks which might help putting such models into shape. Most of the earlier attempts are found controversial. In particular, a conventional quark constituent interpretation could not be recovered. (orig.)

Das Erstellen eines vierdimensionalen relativistisch begruendeten Quarkmodells ist eines der herausragenden Probleme der Teilchenphysik. Das bringt zur Zeit eine grosse Zahl von Modellbildungen mit sich, was sich sehr wahrscheinlich in der nahen Zukunft nicht aendern wird. In dieser Veroeffentlichung machen wir einige allgemeine Anmerkungen, die mithelfen koennten, dass solche Modelle Gestalt annehmen. Die meisten der frueheren Bemuehungen stellen sich als kontrovers heraus. Insbesondere konnte eine konventionelle, mit Quarks begruendete Interpretation nicht wiedererlangt werden. (orig.)
